Broxtowe Borough Council Housing Modernisation Partnership 2008/2013

Bullock Construction has been in partnership with Broxtowe Borough Council since 2003.  During this time we have completed a five year Partnering contract carrying out housing modernisations and upgrade works to occupied and void properties.  The works consisted of new kitchens, bathrooms, external doors, roofing, external rendering and asbestos removal. 

In addition to the housing modernisations works Bullock have also refurbished a number of the Councils public buildings such as public toilets and disabled adaption’s to the Beeston Fields bowling pavilion.

At present Bullock Construction is in the process of completing the second five year partnership contact.  The works consisting of new kitchens, bathrooms, disabled adaptations, asbestos removal and communal emergency provisions to block of flats is due to end in September 2013. 

The partnership consists of ourselves, Broxtowe Borough Council and supply chain partners on the project.  Over the years we have all worked together in a joint effort to exceed tenant expectations’.

The project runs exceptionally well and we have achieved excellent time cost and quality above our client’s expectations.
