Stone Road - Birmingham

Bullock were appointed by Optima Community Housing to design and build this infill site on a main arterial road in the centre of Birmingham.

After extensive design and value engineering appraisals which encompassed significant remediation works, we constructed this seven-storey, 77 unit apartment block for mixed tenure.

Traffic management issues and the lack of storage necessitated the need for MMC and following a detailed option appraisal, we chose Bison wall frame for the structure.

This large scale development was of some concern to the adjacent elderly persons home. We overcame this by extensive consultation and collaboration with the residents to ensure their comfort and safety.
