New Road - Bromsgrove

New Road, Bromsgrove is a ‘foyer’ scheme.  It is a new build, multi occupancy project for our client West Mercia Housing, with St. Basil’s being the end user. The building will contain 11 bedsits, 4 flats and office space, with on site warden 24 hour accommodation.

St Basils is a charity organisation that houses the homeless and vulnerable people such as those coming out of care homes.  The project was met by extensive local feeling and emotion from the local community concerned about the affects the scheme would have on their area.

Bullock and St Basils worked together to liaise with local residents to allay their concerns.

This project has produced a number of community initiatives. Recently, two teams from Bullock and Thornton & Firkin took part in The St Basils Walk in aid of the charity.
