Pleasant Court - Torfaen

As part of Bron Afon’s review of their sheltered service, Bullock were awarded the contract to upgrade and refurbish the existing sheltered Pleasant Court apartments.

This involved the upgrading of bedsits to one bed apartments with wheelchair manoeuvrability and accessibility.

Communal areas were extended, altered and refurbished, and a new sun room constructed. Bullock also replaced the changing cubicles adjacent to the gym with a changing room and assisted bathroom and converted the remaining changing cubicles to Art/Hobby/Library and IT room.

The scheme was remodelled to reflect the new interior design standards for Bron Avon sheltered schemes. The main entrance has been redesigned as a more open and welcoming entrance. The exterior elevations have also been refurbished and upgraded.
