Burslem School of Art - Stoke-on-Trent

The restoration and conversion of the listed School of Art Building to form college teaching facilities and small business units. The main works involved re-roofing, cleaning and restoration of the stone facade, structural alterations, windows refurbishment and complete new central heating, water and electrical systems. A new stair tower including a lift was constructed to comply with fire regulations and archways to the front elevation, which had been hidden for a number of years, were exposed.
