Briar Croft - Stratford Upon Avon

This project is situated in the historic centre of Stratford upon Avon and required a sensitive approach to demolition, traffic management and planning compliance.

Surrounded on three sides by existing extra care homes, Phase 1 required us to demolish a 32 unit care home and construct a new 28 unit extra care facility including commercial kitchens and communal areas.

During Phase 1 we provided a communal lounge and temporary kitchen facilities which kept residents happy until Phase 2 was completed.

Phase 2 saw the relocation of residents from the existing care home into their new homes. We then demolished the second half of the building and constructed a further 32 self contained one and two bedroom flats together with cinema, hairdressing salon, medical rooms and dining room.
