Safety Poster Competition

In-house Graphic Designer Sarah Morley received an award from the British Glove Association on Tuesday 8th July at Drapers Hall in London, sponsored by the Worshipful Company of Glovers.

Sarah was the runner up in a Safety Poster competition where she had to design a poster to promote the use of gloves in industry to reduce hand injuries at work.

The competition was open to all colleges and universities throughout the UK and Sarah represented Walsall College in the West Midlands where she has recently finished a two year year part-time HNC course in Graphic Design sponsored by Bullock.

The Worshipful Company of Glovers is one of the ancient livery companies that once controlled and regulated their craft in the City of London.  Nowadays, whilst continuing to retain strong links with their original trades, they are active in maintaining the traditions of the City and support education and charities in the wider community.
