Walton Court Fish and Chip Lunch

Walton Court Fish and Chip Lunch

Bullock in partnership with Gedling Borough Council are currently modernising 45 flats in a warden aided complex for the elderly in Nottingham.  As the works are so intensive the residents have to move out of their homes and into temporary decant properties.

Due to the friendships being made between staff and residents, Jules Wright and Paula Stevens, the Senior Foreman and TLO for Bullock wanted to organise a fish and chip lunch for the residents of Walton Court to thank them for their cooperation and understanding.

The fish and chip lunch was a great success.  Bullock staff together with Lynn, the Warden for Walton Court, served all the residents their fish and chip lunch in the communal room of the complex.  It was a brilliant turn out, unfortunately some residents had to stay in their flats to eat their lunch but everyone had a great time and one resident even stood up and gave a short speech, thanking Bullock for the lunch and for undertaking the modernisation works so smoothly.

This was the first of many social events that Bullock staff intend to organise for the residents of Walton Court and thanks go out to all those involved.
