Describe a typical day for you?

• Placing materials orders for sites
• Sending out and analysing enquiries
• General duties associated with the day-to-day running of a busy procurement department
• Ordering PPE so that sites and offices comply to current HSE regulations

What do you enjoy most about your job?

I enjoy the interaction with people. Being a buyer means that you need to communicate with people, both internally and externally, which I consider to be one of my strongest areas.

What interested you in a career in construction?

Construction is an interesting industry to work in, everyday can be different. I enjoy a fresh challenge every time I approach a task.
